Several years ago I did extensive research on the internet in an effort to find the best stain for my deck, and I decided to give ready seal a try. Simply put, ready seal is the best stain on the planet. I have since used it to stain a thirty year old railroad tie retaining wall that was extremely weathered and ugly. My wife wanted me to replace it with a rock wall. I used ready seal on it and it transformed my wall from an eyesore to a beautiful backyard feature, and saved me a bundle of dough. My neighbors thought I had replaced the old wall. And, my wife loved it. This stain is like magic. It is so easy to use and forgiving. It wears great and is so easy to re-stain.

We have used Ready Seal exclusively for 11 years. we couldn't be happier with both the product and the people of Ready Seal. Ready Seal's biggest advantage, and often overlooked, is its ability to be recoated in future years without having to be stripped. This allows future maintenance to be gentler on the wood and less expensive.

Just wanted to let you know what an AMAZING product Ready Seal stain is. We did the Dark Brown color on our 4 month old PT deck, and it was easy, quick and truly "goof proof". When I was researching what stain to buy, I was on the fence between Ready Seal and Cabot. I ordered a test strip of all the colors as well as a stain sample bottle to test out. Once I tested it on a separate board, I knew I would end up buying it for the whole deck. It is truly the best there is, and worth every penny. To compare, my brother did his deck the week before me, using a store-bought "semi-transparent". It just can't be compared to Ready Seal- his still has that "paint" look and he said there were problems when applying it. Ready Seal was problem free. The oil soaks in deep and you can see the wood being conditioned. It didn't hide the grain or look "painty" at all ! I am so impressed with this product and so thankful I went with Ready Seal. I ended up using it again on a wood planter in the front of our house, so easy to do and the results are always perfect! Ready Seal is my wood stainer for life! Thank You!!

I wanted to tell you that I just finished staining my deck with the light brown stain, 100% by hand with a brush. It is the most gorgeous stain I have ever seen...really brings out the wood grain and has a very rich look to it.... GREAT product!!!

I used the Dark Brown Ready Seal to stain/seal my privacy fence. Application was easy and I love the color! Watered the lawn the evening I applied Ready Seal and the water beaded and rolled down the fence. I'm just a home owner and no expert at staining/sealing fences, but I highly recommend using this product!

Just wanted to take a minute and let you know how happy we are with Ready Seal. I've never been completely satisfied with other brands we've tried so when someone recommended Ready Seal we decided to give it a try. We stained our cedar fence and it went on really well and left me with the impression that the fence was being well protected so we also decided to re-do our redwood deck. It worked great for that and was very easy to apply once we removed the old stain. We really like the effect on the deck; it looks great and gave it alot of character.

I successfully applied Ready Seal (using a roller) to my two 14 x 16 ft decks this weekend....by myself... and they look AWESOME! Thank you so much! Customer for life!

I built a 1000sqft deck for my boss, used Behr semi-transparent stain and it only lasted 2 years before it looked terrible, not to mention it is not easy to apply. It started to peel and flake after just one year. This time I used Ready Seal and so far couldn't be happier with the results. It is very easy to apply, and looks absolutley amazing, they are right when they say Goof Proof.... I will never use another stain/sealer besides Ready Seal.

MAN IS YOUR PRODUCT NICE! I used a pump up sprayer and it was so easy once I got the hang of it. I tell everyone about your product. People in the neighborhood ask who did it and are shocked when I tell them I did. It just has a nice clean sheen and sealed look to it.

I am a residential homeowner that has used many other products for staining. The Ready Seal product is by far the best and easiest product that I have ever used!

I was raised on and taught to use Thompson's Water Seal, period. Recently, a local friend and distributor of your product shared with me the news about Ready Seal. I used the medium red on our cedar fence, and it is GLORIOUS! Now, my mother wants me to use Natural Cedar on her pressure-treated deck. Thanks for making your product!

Ready Seal was the easiest product I have ever used. The color is perfect. Each time I called your offices with questions, I was treated courteously and given advice that was extremely helpful. Great product! Great Company! I plan to use your sealer fo all future outside projects.

Workability is great, easy to spray... Ready Seal has an average spread rate with a heavy spraying application at about 100-125 sq. ft per gallon. Penetration is the high point I think, with a massive absorption rating... Ready Seal has deeper penetration than anything I have used thus far. I liked the initial color and the color now after it is starting to settle. In comparison to other sealer/stains I would say Ready Seal has the most furniture like finished look that I have encountered with really beautiful grain accents. Think I might be moving towards Ready Seal exclusively.... Another thing I liked was that even with a really heavy wet on wet application there was no matting or sheen at all, unlike a linseed oil that is very easy to see an over-application. 2 thumbs up for Ready Seal from me.

Some penetrating oils, such as Ready Seal, contain loads of ultra-violet inhibiting pigments, ground to near-microscopic levels... These tiny pigments, in sufficient quantities, effectively block the bulk of the UV rays from reaching the wood.
