Who is Ready Seal®?
Don Mauldin, creator of Ready Seal, spent half his lifetime in the construction industry. After struggling to find good coatings for exterior wood, Don teamed up with a group of professional chemists and soon found himself in the coatings manufacturing business. Don and his chemists were trying to create an exterior wood coating that would eliminate problems encountered by builders and contractors, without sacrificing the quality and durability of the coating. The result was Ready Seal. Ready Seal sold its first bucket in 1992 and continues to market its products to professional contractors and wood workers. Now, Ready Seal Incorporated sells thousands of gallons of Ready Seal Stain and Sealer for Wood across the nation. Where is Ready Seal®?
Ready Seal grew up in a set of small warehouses in Lewisville, Texas, where we mixed small batches by hand and delivered products door-to-door. In the late 1990's we relocated our manufacturing plant to Weatherford, Texas and began to automate our manufacturing process. Now, in 2009, we have upgraded our facilities, still in Weatherford, to a 13 acre complex with over 30,000 square feet of manufacturing space. Our corporate headquarters remains in Lewisville, Texas. While the quantity of products we sell may have changed, our dedication to quality remains a driving force behind all of our products and services.
